Education for the future of the country

On October 28, the first in-person session of a recurring project organized by the Ministry of Education was ceremoniously launched at the National Children’s Technopark. Now in its third year, the initiative is supported by the Academy of National Education, the Belarusian State University (BSU), and the National Children’s Technopark.

Seventy high school students, who achieved the best results during the remote qualifying stage, were selected for this in-person training program. Under the guidance of mentors from BSU, the students are deepening their knowledge and refining their skills. The curriculum goes beyond standard academic preparation; a highlight of the session is the "Synergy" intellectual forum, where participants will not only hone their ability to solve complex problems—the kind often found in academic Olympiads—but also engage in project-based work. A rich cultural program is also included, offering the students a chance to relax and make new friends.

Running concurrently with the students' program, from October 28 to November 5, the Academy of National Education is hosting a national thematic seminar titled "Improving the System for Working with Highly Motivated and Intellectually Gifted Students." During this event, educators are meeting with coaches from Belarus’s national teams—who prepare students for international academic competitions—and exploring the effective practices developed at the F.E. Dzerzhinsky Lyceum of BSU.
