The final stage of the II Republican Forum of Supervisors of Study Groups of Higher Education Institutions began today at the National Children's Technopark. The event is organized by the National Institute for Higher Education jointly with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

The focus of the two-day event is the improvement and initiation of the activities of supervisors of study groups in the general system of educational work in a higher education institution.

160 supervisors of study groups from among the winners of the university competition “Best Supervisor of the Year” take part in the Forum. (43 HEI).

Before the start, an exhibition of teaching materials from supervisors of study groups of higher education institutions took place in the foyer.

Opening the event, Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Kadlubay noted that every year the forum becomes more popular. This is evidenced by both the increase in the number of participants and the quality of the submitted competitive projects and scientific and methodological materials.

The Deputy Minister wished supervisors to confidently move forward to new horizons, overcome all difficulties, and never stop: “Each of you, through your work, makes a unique contribution to the field of educational work with youth, and our task today is to support you on the path to success and development of the institution of supervision. Your work and desire can contribute to the quality training of a future specialist who is a patriot of his homeland.”

The forum solves a number of serious problems: increasing the efficiency and motivation of supervisors; formation of a professional community of supervisors of study groups by consolidating new ideas and summarizing accumulated experience, as well as identifying and sharing successful practices of supervisors in the field of organizing educational work with students and providing support for creative initiatives.

The first stage (group) took place on December 21-22, 2023. More than 150 participants from all higher education institutions in the country took part. The participants provided competitive materials (methodological developments) to the NIHE in one of the areas: ideological education; civic and patriotic education; spiritual and moral education; family education; labor and professional education; fostering a culture of everyday life and leisure; work with foreign students.

Immediately after the opening, the dialogue platform “The work of a supervisor: modern challenges and prospects for development” began with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.

As part of the final stage of the forum, intensive training sessions are planned on the following topics: professional burnout; conflict studies; team building; getting to know the group through training; leadership; information Technology; interaction with public associations and formations; project activities.

There will also be a seminar “Practical experience in organizing the activities of a supervisor of a study group at a higher education institution” and a presentation of the best competitive projects of the forum participants will be organized.

Tomorrow the results will be summed up and the participants will be awarded.

The result of the forum will be proposals and recommendations that will serve to improve the system for creating and effectively using the intellectual product of education in the field of educational work.
