More than 380 school students from 87 countries took part in the 56 International Physics Olympiad held in Bucaramanga town, Columbia. Team Belarus did extraordinary well, as all 5 participants are back home with prizes.

Silver medalists:

*Edgar Antsipovich and Rostislav Guzeev (BSU lyceum named after F. E. Dzerzhinsky);

*Sophia Pshenichnaya (Gymnasium No. 14 of Gomel).

Bronze medalists:

*Andrei Drugakov (Gymnasium No. 32 of Minsk);

*Dmitry Gnedko (Middle school No.92 of Minsk).

This successful result confirms the high level of training in Belarusian schools on natural subjects. Education Ministry extends congratulations to gifted school students, their teachers and parents with remarkable representation of our country at the world stage and wishes them new scientific achievements!
