Next academic year, 3,700 preschool institutions and 2,600 general secondary education institutions will welcome their students. About 355 thousand young Belarusians will go to preschool institutions, and 1 million 70 thousand children will go to schools and gymnasiums. About 105 thousand first-graders will start their learning path. Targeted work on the comprehensive preparation of educational institutions for the educational process is nearing the end. By August 20, the readiness passports of all schools must be approved.
Have all the urgent tasks been solved for comfortable learning? Officials keep controlling the readiness of institutions of learning. Today, while on official visit to Minsk oblast, Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets visited educational institutions of the Vileika district, including secondary school No. 5 in Vileika and Ilyanskaya secondary school, and met with teachers.
The head of the country's specialized educational department was interested in issues of providing teaching staff, organizing meals and school uniforms.
Also today, the Minister of Education held a citizen's reception. During a meeting with the minister, the teacher of additional education at the Vileika District Center for Additional Education, Lyudmila Adamovich, proposed to create a museum room in Secondary School No. 3 named after V.L. Sosonko in Vileika in honor of her mother, Evdokia Adamovich, who worked as a biology teacher for 40 years.
After listening to the teacher, Andrei Ivanets suggested: "It would be reasonable to create a comprehensive stand at the school that will display information not only about the teachers who have already made a significant contribution to education, but also about those teachers who work at the school today, as well as about students who study at the school and win prizes for it."
