A single lesson dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus will be held on March 14 in all schools. The aim is to instill an active civic position in students, their readiness to consciously and actively fulfill civic duties, observe and respect the laws of their state, and understand the essence and meaning of the Basic Law of the country.

Teachers must decorate a class-room for the upcoming event. They have to provide for the presence of state symbols and printed editions of the Constitution. It is recommended for them to hold exhibitions of thematic posters and drawings by students and books about Belarus, present creative works of schoolchildren (essays, poems, drawings, posters, models, etc.) dedicated to the achievements of sovereign Belarus, etc.

The main phase of the lesson is developed by the teacher, taking into account the age of the children, based on the presentation "Constitution - Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus". The following substantive lines of the lesson are recommended as follows: 1. Constitution - Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus. 2. Structure and content of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. 3. Rights and obligations of citizens of the Republic of Belarus. 4. Amendments and additions to the Constitution made following the results of the 2022 national referendum.

During the lesson, it is necessary to organize a discussion of the topic, students must give their own opinions on the meaning of the Constitution and the importance of fulfilling the duties of a citizen of Belarus.
