Energetic, mobile and creative youth play a key role in shaping the future of Belarus; the opinions of young people are taken into account when developing various initiatives and significant programs.
This year Brest holds the honorary status of the youth capital of Belarus, and is hospitably hosting over 80 of the best representatives of labor collectives of various domestic institutions and organizations, who are part of the promising personnel reserve of the republic, from August 28 to 30.
Activists united to discuss issues of implementing youth policy, regional development, and make specific proposals and recommendations for creating comfortable conditions for work and rest within the framework of the II Republican Forum of Working Youth.
Such an effective platform is also an excellent opportunity to establish contacts, exchange experiences and find like-minded people.
According to the organizers of the forum: The Republican Council of Working Youth under the Ministry of Education and the direct support of the department, the Republican Institute of Higher Education, the Republican Youth Center of NIHE, the Brest City Executive Committee, it is important that such events promote the active participation of young people in public life.
Violetta Kravtsova, consultant of the Department of Youth Affairs of the Main Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy of the Ministry of Education, is also convinced of the effectiveness of the event: "This forum should be patriotic, and its participants will contribute to the implementation of state youth policy."
The forum kicked-off at the Brest State A.S. Pushkin University.
Welcoming forum’s participants, the Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee Sergei Lobodinsky emphasized: "Currently in our country there are many opportunities to realize yourself in almost all areas. Having received a diploma of higher education, I urge you to stay in your country. We need good personnel, and it will be doubly pleasant if you make your name on the holy Brest land."
Rector Yuri Golubev said: "The heads of any institution, enterprise, and system are interested in the development of young people. This forum will allow you to improve yourself and develop our beloved Belarus."
Another platform for the forum is the Brest State Technical University.
Master classes, educational seminars and intellectual tournaments will be held at the sites of two universities.
By the way, the forum program is full of educational and leisure content. Thus, yesterday (august 28) the participants visited cultural, educational, medical and industrial institutions of the city of Brest. The first day of the forum ended with a psychological workshop "How to build relationships with parental families", at BrSU.
Today (august 29), the forum delegates will take part in a ceremonial rally and laying of flowers at the Brest Fortress.
On the same day, a seminar "Organization of work with working youth" will be held with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
The issues of improving the image of blue-collar jobs, professional growth of young specialists are in the focus of the promising future managers. Work with youth in social networks and the implementation of project activities will also be discussed.
On August 30, a labor action will be held at the All-Belarusian youth construction site - the Republican Center for Patriotic Education of Youth.
The forum held these days is young, but it is already acquiring international status. Director of the autonomous non-profit organization "Dialogue" of Nizhny Novgorod (Russia) Galina Smirnova reported that her city is also a youth capital, so their delegation is doubly pleased to come to the "city - youth sister".
In addition, Belarusian families participate in the meeting of young families in the Nizhny Novgorod region and there is hope that friendly cooperation will gain momentum.
Also, sports and entertainment programs will be organized for the forum participants.
