The open republican essay competition "Heroes of Our Victory" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War has begun accepting applications.

The competition is organized by the Ministry of Education of Belarus, the National Center for Children's and Youth Art, and the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University. The competition will promote patriotism among young people and the formation of traditional moral ideals and values.

Young people aged 14 to 17 can take part. The competition is held in 2 nominations: "Best Essay in Russian", "Best Essay in Belarusian". The deadline for submissions is March 31. The winners will be announced in April.
