With a target admission of 16,000 students for fee-paying programs, 24.500 applicants applied. The competition was 1.5 applicants per place.
High competition (more than 3 applicants per place) was registered in the following majors: Costume and Textile Design, International Economics and Trade (with advanced Chinese language studies), Regional Studies and Translation, Tourism and Hospitality, Architecture, Physical Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy, History, etc.
A number of specializations have achieved relatively high passing scores (over 300): International Economics and Trade (with Advanced Study of Chinese), International Relations, Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Translation Studies, History Education, and Civil Aircraft Flight Operation.
In addition to the admissions figures, universities will enroll over 1,400 applicants (for a second higher education, as well as applicants who have passed the entrance examinations and hold at least the first sports category or the title of "Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus of International Class" or "Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus").
At agricultural universities, the application deadline for fee-paying students is August 2. Fee-paying students will be admitted on August 3.
According to the results of the university admissions campaign, 69,000 applicants applied for 49,100 state-funded and fee-paying places. The competition for each place was 1.4 applicants.
