Minsk, 19 November. More than 500 foreign students joined the national festival of art of foreign students F.-ART.bу-2025 at the National of artistic creativity of kids and young people.
“Our universities welcome thousands of foreign students. Currently, there are more than 35 thousand studying at our institutions of higher learning. Universities deal with important tasks, such as involvement of those students in our live and culture, and help them make friendly connections with our people. During the festival, foreign students presented their culture, art, national dishes and this festival cannot be judged by anyone as the involvement is priceless.” Andrei Ivanets noted.
“Off-study activities for foreign students is an important and strong component of the education process. That is why Education Ministry developed a program for year-round activities. It includes visiting historical and cultural sites significant to our country, learning about our traditions, hosting youth events, identifying initiatives from our international students, so that each of them feels at home and is happy to return to our country. We traditionally visit the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War as it's a sacred place for us. The plan also includes visiting our memorial sites—palace and park ensembles, historical and cultural sites like Khatyn, Mir, and Nesvizh, and the ancient cities of Turov and Polotsk,” shared Andrey Ivanets.
