The need for new in-demand specialties, knowledge, skills for high-quality work, the desire to remain in demand on the labor market are now the main motive for students to master educational programs. There are 358 retraining specialties, 10 majors, 26 areas for advanced training of managers and specialists.

Enterprises carry out training, retraining, advanced training in most blue-collar professions, and there are about 3,700 such professions. In addition, the satisfaction of the cognitive needs of students, as well as the formation of competencies in a certain area of professional activity, is carried out within the framework of educational programs of training courses and targeted courses.

The content of educational programs is adjusted on an ongoing basis taking into account the needs of the labor market. In addition to the Ministry of Education, 24 republican government bodies participate in the development of educational standards and curricula for retraining specialties.

More than four thousand executives, teachers and specialists of the education system undergo training at the National Institute for Higher Education every year at the expense of the republican budget. In total, there are more than 150 groups of students. Most of the groups of students are trained in universities, which proves its effectiveness and allows them to delve even deeper into practical aspects. Thanks to numerous advanced training programs (more than 80) and their annual updates, the educational activities of the NIHE cover all aspects of the higher education system.
