From April to November institutions of learning host "Memory Watch - 2025". This is a republican campaign dedicated to the Year of Improvement and the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The organizer is the Republican Center for Ecology and Local History with the support of the Education Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.

The partner is the Department for the Perpetuation of the Memory of the Fallen Defenders of the Fatherland and Victims of Wars of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.

The aim is to further improve the system of patriotic education of children and students by involving them in socially significant and socially useful activities.

Students of general secondary, vocational and secondary specialized institutions, of additional education for children and youth, and students of higher learning institutions are welcome to participate.

Among the events planned by institutions for the campaign are:

improvement and tidying up of military burial sites and places of perpetuation of the memory of defenders of the Fatherland and victims of the war, planting trees, memorial alleys, squares, gardens;

ceremonial rallies at military facilities with the laying of flowers (garlands) on the eve of memorable dates;

providing patronage assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, labor, home front workers, prisoners of fascist concentration camps, children of war, creating and updating Books of Memory;

establishing the names of fallen defenders of the Fatherland and victims of the war, searching for relatives, restoring biographical data, identifying unknown burial sites, implementing initiatives to install memorial plaques, memorial signs, etc.;

"Glory excursions", search and local history expeditions with visits to military facilities and places of military glory, development of new excursion routes with the inclusion of memorial sites, etc.

As part of the final district (city) events, the effective experience of educational institutions in implementing the campaign events will be presented.
