The participants discussed key areas of state youth policy: youth support in the social and labor spheres, the health of the younger generation, the prevention of antisocial behavior, information security, the development of youth policy at the regional level, civic and patriotic education, and youth engagement in public and political life.
Following the meeting, strategic decisions were made aimed at developing the innovative potential of young people, strengthening the institution of the family, expanding opportunities for youth participation in public life, and improving the regulatory framework and interdepartmental cooperation.
As Deputy Minister of Education Ekaterina Petrutskaya emphasized, youth are not just a statistical category, but a strategic resource for the country. Today, young people account for 17% of the Belarusian population, and the future of the country depends on their activity, health, education, and civic maturity.
