Soligorsk, 3 January. School № 15 began its work in 2024. Today it welcomed the participants of the regional stages of the republican drawing competition of primary school students "We are together" and the republican essay competition "What is unity" for the award ceremony.

One of the events of the republican cultural and educational campaign "Unity Marathon" was the awarding of the participants of the regional stages of the drawing competition of primary school students "We are together" and the essay competition "What is unity".

Miroslava Gudanis, a student of Borisov Secondary School No. 2, is only 8 years old, but her skills are good enough to create a beautiful drawing. "I wanted to draw a mother with children in a beautiful dress and on it - everything that our country is famous for. This is a bison, storks, and the plant world," Miroslava noted.

Miroslava has been attending art classes since she was 5 years old and green is among her favorite colors. "With its help, you can convey all the beauty of our nature," said Miroslava.

Egor Gubik is deep into football, but he also loves creativity, he draws both at home and in class. "I am a 4th grade student at Shchomyslitsy Secondary School and I drew a girl with a picture of Belarus," said Egor.

Cadet of the Borisov Cadet School Angelina Pochuyko will finish 11th grade in 2025, and she took on a more serious work to write an essay.

"The topic was not easy, but it made me think. I believe that when we are united, we are invincible. This applies to family, team, country. We must all stick together, building our home and strengthening our country," shared Angelina.
Angelina is confident in her choice of profession: she is purposefully pursuing her dream of becoming a soldier and therefore she speaks about patriotism in a particular manner.

Deputy Minister of Education Ekaterina Petrutskaya addressed the children: "Our children in the country have every opportunity to realize themselves in all areas. There is an opportunity to draw the world in which they live in beautiful, bright colors. And these drawings are an achievement, because in them we see that the children are happy to live under a peaceful sky on our peaceful Belarusian land. We see that among us, perhaps, there are future artists with a world name," said Ekaterina Petrutskaya.

She wished the winners to take part in new projects, development of talents and the desire to be the best. "You are the ones whom we will trust to build our Belarus in the future," Ekaterina Petrutskaya emphasized.

The head of the main department of education of the Minsk regional executive committee Nikolai Bashko noted that it is symbolic to start the new year with victories. "The gifts you received here will be a symbol of your family, a symbol of the unity of your family around you. The unity of the country begins with the unity of the family," he said.
