“During the Republican Pedagogical Council held with the participation of the Head of State A.G. Lukashenko, we determined the main directions for improving the national education system. Among the key points - the country has developed an algorithm for identifying children in preschool educational institutions, which will allow this year to carry out the registration procedure in electronic form through a single portal of electronic services. Starting from this year, a centralized examination has been introduced in the 11th grade, which provides for the combination of final exams for a secondary school course and entrance exams to institutions of higher education.
“Speaking about the quality of the work of general secondary education institutions, we focus not only on the amount of knowledge and skills that our graduates possess, but also on the fact that a person with an active life position who benefits his country comes out of the school,” says Andrei Ivanets.

A powerful incentive for the development of pedagogical creativity is the competitive movement, including the competition of professional skills of pedagogical workers “Teacher of the Year of the Republic of Belarus” and the new republican competition “Pedagogical Debut”.
