Teachers are allowed to do blogging, and in some cases it is even a must. This was stated by Education Minister Andrei Ivanets at an informal meeting with bloggers held within the frames of a 3^rd Forum “Blog.by. Third labor”.

Andrei Ivanets noted:

-If there is a gifted math, biology, chemistry or physics teacher, the one who can use simple and understandable language to teach his subject, attract attention of school students and even make his subject popular, we do support such initiative.

Speaking about a role model to follow, Andrei Ivanets told about a YouTuber Valery Kazakov. Valery is a math teacher and an author of studying books. He uses his online channel to explain complex tasks on geometry and helps high school students to study for exams and Olympiads.

-On September 1 we will start a new edition of a unified information and education resource called eior.by. There we will be posting short videos explaining complex topics using simple language for kids and parents to understand those topics. Those teachers ready to teach in an interesting manner can co-author our resource in the future, the Minister added.
