National seminar “Students’ startup: legal, economic and organization framework” took place today at the startup center in high-tech park. The event was held in the frames of implementation process for cooperation Road map between Belarusian Education Ministry and Hi-tech park.

Main target: In Belarus, youth startup movement switched from disparate competitions format to making single state system.

Twelve Belarusian universities do initial selection of talented students and their projects on the basis of their startup centers. Main goal is to make a solid connection between developments and national priorities. Students’ ideas no longer rest on a shelve, they transform into in-demand products for import replacement and undergo integration into regional innovational and industrial clusters.

This gives young people modern infrastructure to test hypothesis, systemic acceleration programs as well as mentor support and a direct way to big industrial enterprises of our country.
