Belarusian officials pay colossal attention to the implementation of state information policy. Currently, given the active development of new technologies and the audience's shift to the Internet, the range of entities participating in the organization and conduct of mass communication is expanding. Such notable players as bloggers are entering the media field. They have essentially become new opinion leaders, dictating the rules of life to their audience.

In this regard, the First Bloggers Forum "BlogBy. We have something to say!" has become very important and relevant.

The main venue for the large-scale event to take place is the National Children's Technopark. Until 28 September, more than 150 representatives of the blogger community of Belarus will discuss issues of interaction with representatives of the vertical of power, promotion of the current state media agenda in the blogosphere.

Experts in the field of communications, including representatives of Russia and Latvia, as well as large media holdings of the country, are also invited to the Forum.

Deputy Minister of Education Ekaterina Petrutskaya noted that the inviolability of our sovereignty, the preservation of the unity and harmony of the Belarusian people largely depend on the professionalism and civic position of domestic media specialists.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus is constantly working to find and support active talented youth in the field of content creation and promotion. The annual Blogosphere and Booktrailer competitions attract more than 7,000 participants across the country.

Specialists from the Republican Youth Center conduct educational seminars and trainings not only for students and teachers, but also for employees of enterprises and organizations.

“We have already created an umbrella organization system for the prompt spread of relevant information throughout the country. New strategies for engaging users in the media space are being developed. Our main resource is you, active and caring, eager to create and provide a high-quality information product to our users. I am sure that your desire to develop and improve, the ability to unite, protecting the national interests of the country, are the key to the well-being and peace of independent Belarus,” said Ekaterina Petrutskaya.

The program is full of theoretical and practical cases, visits to iconic places and sites of the capital, as well as a presentation of the activities of the media of Belarus.

A distinctive feature of the Forum is the work in groups of the blogging community with mentors (theoretical and practical modules), thus obtaining information (content), which can subsequently be used in further work.

Particular attention is paid to team integration and the informal part of communication in order to form a national blogging community.

The Forum will open up many new prospects for bloggers, provide effective practical tools that will help improve interaction with the audience. And it is also an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and get advice on working with content and its promotion.
