Formation of a unified center for scientific and methodological support for the education system. The government has decided to reorganize the Academy of Education. The corresponding Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 26, 2026, No. 326 "On the reorganization of the state educational institution 'Academy of Education'" was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin.

The Academy of Education will be reorganized by merging the Republican Institute of Vocational Education and the National Institute of Higher Education, followed by renaming it the Academy of National Education.

The Academy of National Education will ensure continuity in scientific and methodological support for all levels of education: from preschool to higher education, continuing education for adults, children, and youth, as well as the implementation of professional development and retraining programs for teaching staff.
