This year, the entrance campaign to universities for targeted students has been placed beyond the limits. Documents for this category of applicants were accepted even before the issuance of school certificates that took from June 1 to June 5.
Then, from June 6 to 13, applicants with a targeted referral passed one oral internal exam in the profile subject of the specialty.
The mark for the exam is set on a 10-point scale, then, the result will be recalculated to fit the 100-point one. The score is summed up with the average score of the certificate - thus the competition is lined up. The maximum score that target applicants can score upon admission is 200.
Most of the target students this year will be admitted to medical and pedagogical specialties, and after studying at the university they must work for five years in the organization where the referral was taken.
Enrollment of targeted students in universities will take place on June 16. Those who do not enter will be able to take part in the general competition. However, in this case, you will have to pass through one СT by registering on a common basis.
Remind you that CT starts on June 14. More than 55 thousand applicants have registered for it.
The most popular subjects of the CT-2023 are physics, English and Russian.
Director of RIKC Yuri Miksyuk has more stats:
— Over 55,000 Belarusian applicants have registered for the Centralized Testing this year. This figure does not include foreign applicants. The top three subjects in the digital arts are physics, which is planned to be taken by more than 14,000 children. In second place is English (about 13 thousand). On the third - Russian (about 12 thousand). The structure of tests and assignments, the conversion table of primary scores into test ones - everything will be the same as at the CE. Applicants will not see anything more complicated, so you should calmly come and do your best.
The centralized testing starts on June 14 with the Belarusian language test. From that day on, every two days there will be a CT in other subjects. So, June 16 - in Russian, June 18 - social science, June 20 - mathematics, June 22 - biology, June 24 - foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese), June 26 - chemistry, June 28 - physics , June 30 - history of Belarus, July 2 - geography. The CT will end on July 4 with an exam in world history (modern time).
For those who cannot pass centralized testing on the main days for good reasons, can do this on reserve days. On July 11 and 13, it will be possible to pass the Belarusian and Russian languages, on July 11 and 15 - all other subjects. To do so, you need to remember to register from 1 to 6 July. Registration areas are open from 9.00 to 19.00, on Saturday, July 1 - from 9.00 to 18.00.
We remind you that CT on the main and reserve days begins at 11.00.
An applicant registered for participation in a centralized exam in two academic subjects has the right to register for passing the CT in no more than one academic subject. For those for whom the CE was not provided for this year, centralized testing can be passed in no more than three academic subjects.
For those who do not plan to enter the Higher Educational Institution, we offer to enter the vocational education institutions. On June 15, an admission campaign will start in educational institutions (colleges) to obtain the qualification of a worker, an employee with a vocational education.
In 2023, admission will be carried out by 159 educational institutions implementing educational programs of vocational education in more than 250 qualifications.
It is planned to admit 26.0 thousand people to the level of vocational education.
The structure of training is improved every year in connection with the changing needs of regional labor markets. So, this year it is planned to suspend admission for 162 (in 2022 - 132) unclaimed qualifications and open training for 121 (in 2022 - 141) new qualifications for individual educational institutions.
It is planned to start training for two new qualifications, for which training was not previously carried out in the republic: an equipment adjuster in the production of plastic products (Gomel State College of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology) and a florist (Minsk State College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after N. Kedyshko).
The trends of the past years will be preserved in the structure of admission: the specialties of the real sector of the economy will make up about 75 percent.
We wish all participants of the 2023 admission campaign good luck and success!
