Own independent analytics is very important for the sustainable development of the country. High-quality methodology for analyzing and assessing the situation, the ability to independently forecast is one of the components of sovereignty and national security.
Five years ago, the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research (BISR) was established in Belarus by decree of the President. The key task of the think tank is to provide analytical support for the activities of senior government officials.
The focus of the multifaceted study is the analysis of a wide range of areas of life, including education, healthcare, the labor market, industry, and agriculture. Analysts conduct a serious sociological study on social sentiment in the capital and regions, study the level of satisfaction with living conditions, jobs, and infrastructure. These data provide an opportunity to better understand people's expectations and contribute to effective decision-making by government officials.
