Minsk, 24 July. Education Ministry and Hi-Tech Park signed cooperation roadmap. The ceremony took place yesterday in BSUIR during a workshop called “Formation of the national startup-ecosystem under the aegis of Education Ministry and Hi-Tech Park”.

The document has three main provisions. First one is about improvement of teacher’s skills, especially in AI literacy. “We have already done the first conference on using AI in learning process as well as national competition of methodologic developments. And we have drafted the instructional letter on AI usage in schools and universities” – Andrei Ivanets noted.

Second provision is on work with gifted students including Olympiad participants and students of the National children’s tech-park. “Hi-tech park specialists motivate children and help them improve their skills in realization of high technologies”. – Ivanets noted.

Third provision is on startup development. “More than 45% of ten leading universities students want their own business. We are establishing startup centers in universities to find talents and conduct acceleration programs” – said Minister.

In attendance were rectors and universities employees responsible for development of startup movement as well as secretaries of the high-tech park observance council.
