Baranovichi, September 20. A significant event “Day of young scientists” is underway at Baranovichi State University.

The holiday brought together not only students but pupils, undergraduates, PHD students, scientists, teachers and experts from all regions of the country, about 1000 people in all.

The holiday’s organizers are Council of Young Scientists under the aegis of Ministry of Education and BarSU, they receive support from the Ministry.

First Deputy Minister of Education Alexander gave welcoming speech during the opening ceremony.

It was noted that such events increase the role of science, draw attention to achievements made by Belarusian scientists, promote scientific-research work among pupils and students and allow youngsters to put efforts in implementation of interesting startups.

Currently, Belarus has everything for youngsters to implement their potential in science and it is a must to show how these opportunities and conditions being implemented on practice.

“Nowadays young people are smart, witted, artistic and active. They are the future of our science, our education and our country. We expect the holiday to bring bright emotions and it’ll help the guys in their future career choices”. Says Alexander Bakhanovich.

The multifaceted educational program will allow participants and guests to visit interactive platforms, popular science lectures, trainings and quizzes, an exhibition of the most significant scientific achievements of young university scientists. In short, the author's program from the country's leading universities will allow you to go on a real scientific journey, see the living side of science, and immerse yourself in the endless and mysterious world of scientific creativity.

Among the exhibits are also BSU developments. For example, an educational laboratory of aerospace measurements, solid composite reagents for water purification etc.

The program will be complemented by master classes, where students of the BSU Physics Department will organize a cryo show, and the Law Department will present fingerprint capture technology.

Also, on the eve of the grand opening, a visiting meeting of the Council of Young Scientists under the aegis Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus was held at Baranovichi State University.

During the meeting, young scientists from 42 domestic higher education institutions discussed a number of issues, including preparations for the national youth innovation project "100 Ideas for Belarus"; the results of the "Science Festival" and "Festival of Professions"; preparations for the "School of Young Scientists - 2024" and current areas of ideological and educational work in higher education institutions.

It is worth noting that Baranovichi State University is not only a promising educational institution, but also a solid center of science and culture in the Brest region.

Every year, the university demonstrates high standards of training specialists who are able to successfully compete in the labor market and make a significant contribution to the development of our country.
