Karate is one of the most famous sports among Belarusian pupils because it means healthy lifestyle and in our country HL is one of top priorities.

Karate is a part of school sports games. Its key aim is to promote HL, provide patriotic education and to promote regular sports commitments.

National center of PE and sports for pupils and students reports there are 57 karate unions with 664 young combatants involved. Minsk alone has 23 sports clubs teaching karate on the basis of 60 institutions of learning.

“BELARUS OPEN” international tournament is about to begin on October 19. The strongest karateka will do their best on the road to victory! The youngest participants are just 10, however 18+ fighters will join the contest as well.
