Kazan (Russia), September 24. The final stage of the Professional Skills Championship "BRICS+ Future Skills and Tech Challenge 2024" is being held at the International Competence Center from September 23 to 27.

The championship is held with the aim of forming standards for new professions and their transmission to leading companies and the personnel training system, transferring the best world practices in promising professions and technologies, demonstrating and testing new and promising professions, developing new and promising technologies and skills for providing personnel for high-tech industries and projects.

More than 1,000 people from various regions of Russia and 12 countries are participating in the final stage. Thusly, participating countries are Belarus, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Vietnam, Colombia, the Philippines, El Salvador.

Belarus takes part in 6 out of 17 high-tech competitions.

Ivan Stotik, a student reading "Computer Security" at the Euphrosyne Polotsk State University, will compete for victory in the "Automation of Business Processes". Sergey Kukhta, a senior lecturer at the university is the expert in the subject.

Representatives of the Belarusian State Academy of Communications - Vladislav Khurs, reading "Systems and Networks of Info-communications" and expert Olga Ryabychina, head of the Department of Postgraduate Education, will represent Belarus in the "Web Technologies" competition.

Daria Perelaiko, a student reading "Graphic Design and Multimedia Design" at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, will compete in the "Graphic Design". The expert from our country is Elena Prokopchik-Belyavskaya, head of the Department of the Humanitarian College of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

In the "CAD Engineering Design", Stanislav Zadvornov, a student reading "Automation of Technological Processes and Production" at the Belarusian National Technical University took on the role to represent our country. The expert is Sergey Pronkevich, head of the Engineering Calculations Design Bureau of ZAO "String Technologies".

In the team event "Internet of Things", our country will be represented by students majoring in "Infocommunication Systems Engineer (Software Maintenance)" at the Belarusian State Academy of Communications Timofey Novik and Denis Latiy. Oleg Khodasevich, Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Personnel Training, is an expert from Belarus in the said subject.

"Mobile Robotics" is also a team event and from Belarus will be Ivan Veselukha and Vladimir Maly, students reading "Automated Electric Drives" at the Belarusian National Technical University. Sergey Prokhorovich, a senior lecturer at BNTU, serves as the expert.
