Belarusian team took part in the International Physics Olympiad and finished second. It took place from June 29 to July 8 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

This year more than 150 participants from 30 different countries took part and every Belarusian contestant won a medal.

Our team’s result is 1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze. The gold was awarded to Revkovsky Adrian, a graduate of the State Educational Institution "Gymnasium No. 1 named after Academician E.F. Karsky of Grodno". The silver medal went to Malakhov Nikita, a graduate of the State Educational Institution "Gymnasium No. 1 of Borisov". Bronze medals were awarded to: Busel Maxim, a graduate of the State Educational Institution "Gymnasium of Svetlogorsk", Gavrusev Mark, a graduate of the Educational Institution "Mogilev State Regional Lyceum No. 1", Guzeev Rostislav, an 11th-grade student of the State Educational Institution "Lyceum named after Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky of the Belarusian State University".

In the team competition, Belarusians took second place.

We thank the team leaders Valdovsky Matvey Georgievich, a physics teacher at the State Educational Institution "Lyceum named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky BSU" and Mukhin Ivan Vladimirovich, physics teacher of the state educational institution "Gymnasium No. 1 of Grodno" for accompanying the team of the Republic of Belarus and highly professional work at the International Scientific Physics Olympiad!
