Minsk, 16 January. Education Minister Andrei Ivanets hosted a meeting with the pedagogical community of the Minsk district. Teachers, executives, educators, school and kindergarten employees took part in the event to discuss Belarus’ historic choice.

Andrei Ivanets said the following: “Presidential elections are coming. Voting is not just one’s civil duty but responsibility for himself, his family and country. Now we can be rightfully proud to live in a peaceful country. We see how tense the situation is in the world and on our state border. Still, our president’s verified and well-balanced policy allows us look forward into the future and enjoy peace”.

Our country is actively developing in economic and technic directions. “New production facilities are being created. We are not standing still in raising the standard of living of our people. This allows us to fulfill not only all the social guarantees that the state undertakes, but also to provide confidence to each family, each child, because the state truly provides care at all stages starting from the birth of a child in a health care institution then preschool, general secondary education, colleges, universities. The level is very high, worthy of our education system and allows young people to realize themselves in life. Each of us is responsible for this choice. I am sure that a peaceful sky, a developed economy and confidence in our families, our children in the future will be our choice.”
