For second year in a row the admission campaign for 11 graders will start with the Centralized Exam. This year 55,4 thousand kids are about to graduate.

School exams will start May 27 with a CE on a chosen subject and continues May 30 on Russian or Belarusian languages.

It is necessary to know that there will be reserve days on June 21 and 23 for those who were unable to take on the exams on the main days (because of ill health or other valid reason).

What about innovations? This year the Ministry of Education has decided to loosen the requirements for rule breakers. Those who violated the CE rules will be able to take on the exams on August 19 and 21. Earlier it was possible to retake only next year.

Minister of Education in his address to parents and applicants explained the reason for such a change. It was implemented for graduates to be able to enter colleges while university admission campaign will already end.

Supervisors will be present in every room to strictly observe the compliance of just and equal conditions for every graduate because not only admission to a university is at stake but a graduation from school as well.

Budget place availability in Universities

This year the budget places will soar by 3 thousand. It will affect pedagogical, medical, engineering specialties as well as demanded by the economy.

Targeted training

Currently, about 11 thousand targeted students study on the level of higher learning. This year the figure might increase. Currently, the national average for local employment has exceeded 75%. In fact, three quarters of the guys come to the workplace and stay to work there. This suggests that the modern applicant makes an informed choice and finds support from mentors and personnel customers.

Distribution of payers

The procedure for distributing payers will remain the same. The requirements for the provision of the first job and the status of a young specialist, which were in force in 2023, shall remain in force. For payers, this is more than certain guarantees and preferences - protection from stress in the event of an unsuccessful job search experience.

For those who have worked for 2 years in the organization and want to extend their contract for another three years, it is possible to retain the benefits and allowances that they have as young specialists.

Education for applicants of Russia

This year applicants of Russia after passing their Single Sate Exam will be able to enter a Belarusian university for a budget form as well. One thousand vacant places have been allocated for them. Russians shall enjoy equal conditions with Belarusians and two-year compulsory work period on enterprises and companies of our country after their studies.

Graduation ceremonies

On June 14, school graduation ceremonies will take place in Belarus. By this time, future applicants will receive the results of the centralized exam and certificates. For those who passed the CE on the main days, the results of the CE will be issued no later than 12 calendar days after its completion. Those who take the test outside of the main time frame will receive results within 7 days. Each young person will be able to see a scanned copy of the CE in their personal account using its registration number and independently double-check their knowledge.
