Minsk, 10 October. Education Ministry announces the annual national competition "Youth Capital of Belarus." The aim is to target the city that creates the most favorable conditions for youth self-fulfillment, supports their initiatives, and actively develops social infrastructure.

The goal of the competition is to create a comfortable environment for youth participation in the political, economic, and cultural life of the country, promote the development of youth organizations, and strengthen interregional cooperation.

Oblast centers, cities of oblast or district subordination, and urban-type settlements are eligible to participate in the competition. A candidate from each oblast will be selected at regional stages organized by regional executive committees.

A comprehensive project must be submitted, including:

* information on developed social infrastructure (hotels, cultural and sports facilities, transportation, recreational areas, etc.);

* information on the implementation of state youth policy in the city for 2025;

* projects for significant youth events planned for 2026.

The winner will gain the status of "Youth Capital of Belarus 2026" for the entire year, a commemorative certificate, and a "Youth Capital" challenge key, along with the opportunity to host national and international youth events with representatives from across the country.

Youth Capital is more than an honorary title. It's an opportunity to demonstrate how a city inspires, unites, and creates the conditions for realizing the boldest ideas of the younger generation!
