Minsk, September 25. Belarusian capital is hosting participants and guests of the XII Belarusian-Russian Youth Forum.
The large-scale event welcomes representatives of all regions of Belarus and six regions of Russia, including student activists, young historians, volunteer organizers, representatives of federal, republican, regional youth public associations and organizations, as well as the media sphere.
The forum’s aim is to unite the youth of the two countries, promote the development and strengthening of youth cooperation.
The plenary session will address issues of state youth policy and international cooperation for its implementation.
The forum participants will be able to see successful projects, achievements and innovations of the leading children's and youth public associations of Belarus - the Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. The exhibition will be located in the business hall of the President Hotel.
In the afternoon, a flower-laying ceremony will take place at the Minsk Hero City Obelisk, and an excursion to the Belarusian Great Patriotic War Museum is scheduled as well. The program of the first day will be completed by the intellectual and entertaining intellectual competition Quiz Science, which has six rounds to complete: "Many Possibilities", "Points of Contact", "Quotes", "Brain Marathon", "In the Footsteps of Riddles", "Cinema Vision of Science".
The forum will continue on September 26 with three sections: "Development of Media and Information Literacy: New Technologies and Challenges", "Volunteer Movement of Russia and Belarus: Goals and Main Activities", "The Role of Youth Public Organizations in Strengthening Youth Cooperation and Solving Common Problems and Challenges".
The results will be summed up on the same day, and all participants will receive certificates.
The event is organized by: Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "MIREA - Russian Technological University".
