Minsk, 12 March – The 32nd edition of the Minsk International Book Fair opened at 14 Pobeditelei Avenue in Minsk on 12 March. More than 500 exhibitors from 20 countries are taking part. The central stand presents an interactive collective exposition of the EAEU member states, united by a common theme - the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
A special place at the exhibition is traditionally given to the educational quarter. Leading educational institutions of our country are widely represented here.
The site of the Ministry of Education of Belarus unites dozens of thematic locations. They are devoted primarily to patriotic and spiritual-moral education, technical creativity, as well as publishing activities. In the exhibition space, you can find out what achievements are the pride of the industry, what is necessary for the implementation of unique projects and what new publishing activities are pleasing. Various career guidance events are also organized for high school students.
This year, the “Educational Quarter” pleases visitors with all sorts of activities. Among them are quizzes, quests, debates, discussion platforms. Presentations of creative and photographic works are quite enjoyable and stun lots of visitors.
On the first day of the exhibition, one of the most visited locations was BookTok. This is a relatively closed space with a fireplace, a rocking chair, a blanket and professional equipment. With its help, visitors shoot videos for TikTok about their favorite books and authors and the exhibition as a whole. Another nice bonus is master classes on video shooting, editing and promotion in social networks.
There are five days of a busy program ahead. The organizers promise that no visitor to the XXXII Minsk International Book Fair will remain indifferent. There is something to do for everyone.
