The second shift started on October 28 in the subjects of Astronomy, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Students from general secondary education institutions are taking part. The shift will end November 2. Access to the tasks will be closed tomorrow at 18:00.
Next academic shifts will take place from December 9 to 14 and from April 14 to 19.
The participants have already appreciated this opportunity to test their knowledge. After all, this is a useful experience in terms of preparing for the republican Olympiads and developing their intellectual abilities. Each student can complete the tasks and send them for checking. When the shift ends, the children and their teachers have the opportunity to watch a video analysis of all the tasks.
The main goal of the in-person and online Olympiad is to identify the most talented and gifted students and interest as many children as possible in participating in the Olympiad movement. This will improve the preparation of schoolchildren for the national Olympiads and, accordingly, for international ones in April - August – for them to join our national teams.
Following the results of the online autumn and winter shifts, an in-person study shift will be held from February 3 to 14. Upon its completion, it is also planned to analyze the assignments by university teachers in a remote format.
