October 18, a week of parental love is going on and that’s why every student from grade 1 to 11 is listening to “Warm of parent’s soul” lesson.

In the spotlight today are state support for families and importance of parental love and family values in everyone’s live.

Students will learn that there is Mother’s Day, celebrated annually on 14 of October and Father’s Day, established in 2022 and to be celebrated on October 21. Now between those days we celebrate the Week of parental love.

Pupils will discuss the following topics: “What is a family? What unites family members?” etc.

Minister of Education notes that one of the priority works, conducted by the Ministry and every institution of learning is, undoubtedly, education and formation of traditional family values among youth.

Many thematic events were organized by the Ministry and subordinate organizations specially for this week. These include concertos, quizzes, various exhibitions and a Republican quiz-project “Belarus edition quiz”.

The National Adoption Center of the Ministry of Education is holding a republican competition “Our choice is family values” among educational psychologists of social and pedagogical centers accompanying adoptive families and foster families. The results of the competition will be announced on October 19.

Universities are not no-content-for-you-at-all ones. Their program is quite cheesy and the content is quite captivating. For example, BSEU has opinion exchange event “The role of father in modern world” as well as congratulatory events.

A wide range of thematic events in cooperation with the parent community are about to take place in the regions. Example: the second festival “Family World from A to Z” will be organized on the basis of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 1 in the village of Kopishche” in the Minsk region with the participation of more than 200 teachers, legal representatives and students.
