Three games – one goal. National finale of Zarnichki, Zarnitsa, Orlenok kicked off in Brest

From June 10th to 16th, large-scale competitions will be held at the Brestsky training ground and at the walls of the Brest Fortress. The key feature of the 2026 season is that all three legendary games will be combined into a single cycle for the first time, symbolizing the continuity of generations of defenders of the Fatherland.

* Participants: 210 children from across the country and a delegation from Russia.

* Challenges: Militarized obstacle courses, laser tag, assault rifle assembly/disassembly, commander competitions, scout master classes, and drone piloting lessons.

The key event will be on June 12th. At the Ceremonial Square of the Brest Fortress, the Octobrists will ceremoniously pass the baton to the Zarnitsa finalists, and later, the baton will be picked up by high school students participating in the Orlyonok competition.

The games will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defense. We are confident that such projects develop not only important military skills, but also, most importantly, love for one's homeland, fortitude, and teamwork.

We're rooting for our team!
