Third academic shift of the in-person and online learning school of the Olympiad movement
The shift started the day before. Students of general secondary education institutions can test their knowledge in seven subjects. These are astronomy, biology, geography, computer science, mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
The shift will end December 14 inclusive. Access to the assignments on this day will be closed at 18:00. Based on the results of the distance learning autumn and winter shifts, an in-person academic shift will be organized from February 3 to 14. The next academic shift is scheduled from April 14 to 19. Upon completion of each, participants are given the opportunity to watch a video analysis of the assignments by university teachers in a remote format.
Let us recall that the main goal of the Olympiad is to identify the most talented and gifted students, and then to involve as many of these children as possible in the Olympiad movement. This will help them to improve their preparation for the republican Olympiads and it also improves preparation of national teams to compete in international Olympiads to be held until autumn.
