The national competition “Student of the Year – 2026” kicks off in Belarusian colleges
The national competition “Student of the Year – 2026” has begun in vocational and specialized secondary educational institutions. The project aims to support the initiatives of young students, unlock their leadership and creative potential, and engage them in the country’s public life.
Key objectives of the competition include:
* training youth leaders;
* enhancing the prestige of knowledge and promoting vocational and specialized professions;
* developing effective ways for young people to participate in socially significant activities;
* invigorating the work of youth public associations based at colleges.
The first stage of the competition is taking place within educational institutions and will run until October 31. It serves as a primary platform for identifying the most proactive and talented students—those ready to implement their own ideas and make a personal contribution to the development of the youth movement in Belarus.
