This year in Belarus, the training of specialists with higher education on the terms of targeted admission expanded significantly. In addition to the removed territorial restrictions, training in targeted areas has a number of innovations. Sergey Pishchov, the head of the main department of vocational education of the Ministry of Education tells how to take advantage of this opportunity of entering a university and its pluses.

- The Ministry of Education signed an order to establish the number of places on the terms of targeted training in the universities of the Ministry of Education. The number of places in higher education institutions subordinated to other republican government bodies - the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Culture and others has also been agreed. At present, we have received about 4,000 applications from the country's enterprises for the admission of applicants for targeted training. Most of them, of course, are from the regions, but there are also customers from the capital.

The admission campaign for target recipients this year is beyond the scope of the main admission campaign. Let me remind you, documents for targeted places at universities be accepted from June 1 to 5. From June 6 to 13, entrance examinations will be held, and until June 16, target students will be enrolled. Therefore, both applicants and organizations that have left their applications for the training of specialists need to become more active now, and carry out a crucial stage of concluding agreements on targeted training clearly and efficiently.

Now they have begun to place lists of specialties that you can enter for targeted training, information on the number of such places and about enterprises that are ready to conclude a contract for targeted training of their future employee. Having chosen the appropriate option for himself, the applicant must contact the specified enterprise and conclude an agreement on targeted training. Then, in a timely manner, you need to submit documents to the university, pass one entrance test in oral or practical form in the first profile subject, which is determined for the chosen specialty, and be enrolled in the university.

There is an opportunity to participate in the general competition this year. To do that you need to remember to register for the CT from May 10 to June 1. Having two CE certificates and one CT certificate, as well as a document on education, you can try your hand at the main admission campaign.
