May 2023, eleven grade students will have to pass through the centralized testing.

A trial event for centralized exam took place on January 28, on a large-scale basis.

In total, all organizational and technological aspects of the CE trial have been successfully solved on a high level. This happened thanks to professional, well-balanced work and cooperation between the participants, taking part in the event.

The results of the trial centralized exam, as well as preparation for the centralized exam, were discussed at the republican seminar-meeting with the participation of the heads of the main departments of the regional executive committees, the first deputy of the Education Committee of Minsk, heads of education departments of district (city) executive committees, rectors of universities, on the basis of which the CE will be held, heads of research and development, Aсademy of Postgraduate Education, Republican Institute of Knowledge Control.

The Minister of Education in his inauguration address to the workshop’s participants stated that the main task during the trial testing was to check whether the education system is ready to conduct final attestation for the eleven graders in a new format. This task is now complete. There are still issues to solve, even though the system worked well. Target number one – to conduct the centralized exam in May 2023.

Currently, all regulatory and legal basis is ready for the exam. The decree of the Ministry of Education determined dates for the exam, both main and reserve ones. Each region has enough facilities to place students during the centralized testing.

The main stage of the centralized exam will be dully supervise by the education system and Committee of State Control of the Republic of Belarus.

All comments and questions during the rehearsal stage were taken into account. Y.I. Miksyuk, director of the RIKZ, told about this to the participants of the seminar. He noted: “Thanks to the rehearsal, we all saw those organizational moments that are within our power to optimize and bring to perfection in the remaining time. RIKC carefully analyzed all the comments and suggestions received from the field, both from organized commissions and from responsible persons, who were identified by the Ministry of Education to study the issues of organizing and conducting a rehearsal of the CE.”

Currently, the processing of the received examination materials is being complete. The results of the participants of the CE rehearsal will be available on the RIKC website.

Summing up, the participants of the seminar concluded that the task facing the Republican centralized exam - to see all the moments has been achieved. The main task ahead is to conduct the centralized exam in May 2023 at a high organizational level.
