One of the most successful parts of the national education system is an Olympic (quizzes) movement in the Republic of Belarus. Intellectual competition helps students to find their creative abilities, demonstrate theoretical and practical knowledge and ascend the staircase of science together with their teachers.

Students must have certain qualities to perform well during the contest, such as communication skills, ability to esteem rapidly the information and concentrate on a current task.

The finale of this marvelous competition took place from March 27 to April 1 2023 in 18 academic subjects, welcoming 1505 students from every Belarusian region and state educational institution “Belarus State University’s Lyceum”.

The highest number of diplomas went to Minsk city students and in total, there are 681 winner.

The Olympiads were hosted by such cities as Brest (history, social studies), Gomel (Belarusian language and literature), Vitebsk (English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese), Grodno (computer science), Minsk (physics, astronomy, labor education), Bobruisk (Russian language and literature), Molodechno (physical culture and health), Pinsk (biology, chemistry), Borisov (geography), Slonim (mathematics).

Teachers and nonresident students all paid attention to the high level of organization including living conditions, nutrition, technical support of the Olympiads. Young smart boys could enjoy a special cultural program.

During the closing ceremony held in every city the winners received 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd degree diplomas and prizes of the Minister of Education.

In accordance with the Instruction on hosting the Olympiads on school subjects (of February 9, 2022 #27), the participants received accolades on every school subject.

This year participants of the finale who got such an accolade shall enjoy privileges upon entry on specialties, required by the economy, whose list is determined upon an agreement with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labour and social protection.
