The 7th Belarusian People's Congress under the motto "Time has chosen us!" will be held in Minsk on 24-25 April. Delegates from all over Belarus will make global decisions for our state, which will have a positive impact on the future of the country, the prosperity and well-being of our people.
Civic-patriotic education contributes to the unity of all citizens of the republic and the consolidation of society in the name of the prosperity of Belarus. From an early age, children learn about the heroic past of their people, familiarize themselves with the national culture, spiritual and moral values.
The formation of an active civic position, patriotism, legal, political and information culture, conscious participation in the public life of the country is also facilitated by the implementation of the information and learning project “School of Active Citizen” held in all schools. Classes in institutions of learning are held every fourth Thursday of the month.
During the information hour, students learn public speaking skills and actively discuss economic, social, political and spiritual problems of society.
Figures of Belarusian science, culture and art, representatives of government bodies and the security bloc come to visit the children. Among the guests of honor are Belarusians who have contributed to the development of education, medicine, sports, industry, agriculture, as well as fellow countrymen, workers who daily increase the well-being of our country with the help of their creative work. They are the heroes of modern times, undoubtedly.
On April 25 information events will be held throughout Belarus for schoolchildren.
This year the “SAC” topic is “My Motherland Belarus in Persons. Taking care of your health" (concerning medical workers).
The discussion focuses on: the healthcare system, the state's concern for the health of the nation, health promotion activities, a critical attitude towards bad habits, the attitude towards health as the greatest value, motivation to preserve and improve health, the pharmaceutical industry, free and accessible medical care, export of medical services, medical tourism, highly qualified medical specialists, competence, compassion, dedication.
Students will learn about the most important tasks of domestic medicine, innovative achievements in the industry, unique surgeries, about favorable conditions in our country for preserving and strengthening the health of children, of youth and adults, as well as development of a healthy lifestyle for citizens.
It will be useful for high school students to learn about domestic educational institutions that train specialists for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, the most popular specialties in the field of medicine.
In turn, the young speakers will discuss the priority qualities that medical workers should have and ask invited guests about why Belarus is chosen as a platform not only for treatment and wellness, but also for obtaining medical education.
As part of the educational project, teachers will also remind of an important component in life - not only high awards, titles and positions indicate that a person’s contribution to the development of his country is worthy of high praise. Daily conscientious work, caring for one’s family, active citizenship, love for one’s work, the Motherland, commitment to moral ideals - this is what, undoubtedly, can be attributed to the characteristics of the best Belarusians.
