In the upcoming 2023/2024 academic year, the organization of the sixth school day remains the same.

School principals will make plans for the sixth school day taking into account extra-curricular classes for 9-11 grade students (incentive classes – for gifted and talented kids, supportive ones – for those lagging behind). Those kids, who need special pedagogic assistance and preventively registered ones must be involved in every activity the sixth day offers.

On this day, teachers can conduct school subject weeks, scientific and practical conferences, quiz challenges and other events.

Educational institutions can still enjoy fitness events, labor activities, tours, camping, competitions and interest association activities.

Cooperation with a family is one of the top priorities and it needs close attention. In the frames of realization of the republican “Parental University” program, on the sixth school day, parents will be able to attend consultations with a teacher-psychologist, meet with subject teachers and a class teacher, and discuss issues that they cannot solve due to their working hours.

Institutions of additional education for children and youth will work on the sixth school day.
