Preparation for the upcoming academic year is under strict control of the Head of State, Government and Ministry of Education.

Today Andrei Ivanets visited educational institutions of the Klimovichi district in Mogilev oblast and met with teachers.

First, Andrei Ivanets visited Barsukovskaya basic school. According to the school’s principal Irina Antipenko, 36 pupils and 9 students will study there in the next academic year.

Thanks to the efforts of teaching staff, the school is now ready for the academic year. Thus, wooden window frames were replaced with modern ones; classes, gym and a conference hall were renovated and the canteen underwent technological redesign.

“Our plot of land is more than a hectare and kids help to maintain its natural beauty. In summer they take care of plants and flowerbeds. Actually, the school continues its work even in summer because we run a recreational summer camp. Boys and girls eagerly attend sporting grounds and stadium, participate in various games”, says Irina Antipenko.

Students of the Klimovichi middle school № 1 enjoyed an interesting summer program as well. Summer camps, sporting events, multiple entertaining events charged the kids with positive emotions. Now the school is ready for the new academic year.

Principal Elena Moskalyova noted that preparations for the upcoming educational process were made in advance, and the repair work was only cosmetic. Several years ago, the school was modernized. The educational institution changed both externally and internally. The facade, walls, floor, workshops, and gym were renovated. New benches and paving slabs were installed in the yard.

Repair work in the fourth city school is nearing completion. The institution was also recently renovated. This year, the staff focused on re-equipping the canteen. The furniture was updated, and the food block was equipped with modern equipment and cleaning equipment as well. New equipment is also in the workshops for labor training.

Andrei Ivanets also inquired about the provision of teaching staff, the organization of meals, and school uniforms.

Andrey Ivanets outlined the key point - currently, every teacher is faced with the task of understanding absolutely every child. And not only in terms of his or her abilities in subjects. It is important to consider the multifaceted personality in each person and pay attention to its development.

While visiting the Klimovichi State Agrarian College, the Minister noted that this educational institution takes the issue of civic and patriotic education very seriously.

In general, Andrey Ivanets noted the positive readiness of educational institutions for the next educational year and expressed confidence that all schools will accept schoolchildren on September 1, and parents will be confident that their children are in good hands and will receive a decent upbringing and education.

“The Year of Quality is very significant for the education system. In this regard, we understand the high demands and expectations of society from the industry and we do everything to meet the demands. The education system faces increasingly complex tasks - improving the quality of education at all levels. The most important thing is that young citizens, true patriots of our country, graduate from our educational institutions,” the Minister concluded.
