Minsk, 18 December. Thematic class is to take place for 8-9 grade students 23 December in the frames of national information and education project “School of Active Citizen” (SAC). The topic is relevant:

“Being worthy citizen of the Republic of Belarus means know and respect the history of the country as well as the history Belarusians!”

Participants will discuss key issues:

-         What historical events form the basis of the national proud?

-         Why saving memory is an integral part of civil responsibility?

-         What role do young people take in the process of memory immortalization by taking part in search squads, memory duties, museum activities etc?

The aim of the project is to help young citizens find a conscious civic position, patriotism, and respect for state symbols and the historical heritage of Belarus.
