Next week, “Last bell” national holiday will take place in Gomel, a city with the title “youth capital” for this year. The holiday will span across two days May 22, 23 with more than 16 hundred best graduates from various regions.
It is planned to host a flower-laying ceremony in the Heroes Alley. Then, a solemn line-up will take place. During it, winners of international and national Olympiads, competitions, sports events and tournament champions will receive valuable gifts and prizes.
After solemn events there will be a disco party with Belarusian celebrity singers followed by a firework.
Next day (May 23) is reserved for visits to a war and historic complex “Partisan Krynicka” and “Children – victims of war” memorial in Krasny Bereg.
Last bell will toll in all schools May 24 with solemn line-ups to honor teachers, parents and students.
Next are the exams. This year 56,6 thousand eleven graders and 102,2 thousand nine graders will take on the exams.
