The competition has been held from March to June with employees of educational institutions of all types, foster parents and educators of the family type children’s homes all participating.

More than seventy applications have been submitted from all corners of the country. The themes for the competitors were tear-breaking and serious: “Home happiness” and “I could have been yours”. Despite the winners being already determined, two victors in first, second and third places (6 in total), the champions can’t help but say that everyone is the winner! Everyone who managed to give love, warmth and care to anyone who almost was on the verge of being alone is the winner. Not a single child in our country is alone because the state, experienced teachers and volunteers are ready to do everything possible and impossible to provide the necessary social support and assistance.

There were two stages during the competition: oblast and national. Competitors had two categories to choose between.

The winners received diplomas and prizes. Thus, in “Social video” the winners are teachers of the Minsk city social and pedagogical center. Elena Chilik, a parent-educator of Slonymski district did her best to win “Script for social video”. Andrei Ivanets congratulated and awarded the winners.

The competition was hosted by the National Center of Admission jointly with the Belarusian work union of education and science workers with the help from Education Ministry. Its key aim is to draw attention to forms of family placement and kids left without parental care as well as promotion of substitute parenting.

After the solemn ceremony, everyone had the opportunity to participate in master-classes on development and online-promotion of informational text and video materials.
