MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

From June 26 to June 28, the Republican tourist gathering of schoolchildren will be held in the Berezinsky district of the Minsk region.

The event will gather 180 people split into teams of students from all regions of the Republic of Belarus and Minsk. The age of participants ranges from 14 to 17 years.

The key vector is the activation of tourism, sports, health, and cultural activities.

The rally traditionally involves a large number of students and aims to promote the direction of tourism and local history, implementing the task of civic-patriotic education of students through involvement in tourism, instilling the skills of a healthy lifestyle, and serving as a quality preparation for participation in a large-scale event - the "Tourist Meeting of Students of the Union State".

The rally program consists of sports and competitive programs.

Boys and girls will test their sports skills in the tourist-applied all-around in the technique of hiking at a distance of up to 1000 meters.

In the tourist-applied all-around in the technique of cycling tourism, competitions are held at two personal short distances: figure driving and trial.

Orienteering competitions are held at a distance of your choice.

The competitive program of the tourist rally includes: presentation of the "Union of Good" team; competition of local historians; tourist newspapers "We must not forget these roads"; "Tourist skills and life".

The emphasis here is on creativity. In their presentation, the team should present the educational institution, reflect a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle, and tourism. The judges will evaluate the information content, the quality of the musical accompaniment, the artistry of the performance, and the artistic means of design.

The competition of local historians is organized in the form of a written survey. Young people will demonstrate their knowledge of history, culture, geography, nature, and answer questions about the sovereign and independent Republic of Belarus.

No less interesting will be the competition of tourist newspapers. The panel of judges will definitely note the relevance to the topic, the literacy of the information material provided, the originality, and attractiveness of the design.

The peculiarity of the competition "Tourist skills and life" is that it takes place throughout the Republican tourist gathering of schoolchildren. In the morning and in the evening, the referee team will go around the camps every day. During the rounds, the following will be taken into account: cleanliness and order in the camp; correct installation of tents and campfire equipment; storage rules.

Increased attention should be given to the sanitary condition, compliance with environmental and fire safety standards, and the basics of a safe life.

With additional points, the judges evaluate the original design of the camp and the creative presentation of the camp (up to +10 points).

Judging is carried out by a panel of judges, consisting of qualified sports judges.

The results in each type of the sports program of the tourist rally are determined by the best result in accordance with the Rules of the sport, and in each type of the competitive program - by the amount of points scored.

The winners will receive medals, diplomas, and cups.
