The competition, supported by the Ministry of Education will be held from September to October. Every institution of higher and general secondary learning specializing in architecture, design and interior will be part of the competition. Belarusian Architects Union has more.

The main aim of the competition is to find and remunerate the most interesting authors diploma projects, to incentivize development of different forms of student’s creativity as well as informing people and specialists of specialized schools achievements.

This year’s annual event will be dedicated to the World Day of Architecture with rookies and professionals to compete and share their experience as well as present the most daring creative decisions.

The jury panel will be composed of authoritative practitioners and scientists from Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Georgia and Mexico. The victors in every category shall be determined with the help of an online voting. The best of the best shall receive a grand-prix and prizes from the Ministry of Education. Partners will donate their special prizes as well.

VI National competition of drawing of students of higher architectural schools of the country will take place simultaneously with the diploma’s competition. Its aim is to find support and remunerate gifted young people in architecture and design sectors. Organizers believe the competition to enhance students work and the level of their professional skills.

Following the results of the competition days, a thematic exhibition will be available to the public in the National house of architects. The plan is that October 25 to be the awarding-ceremony day for winners of both competitions.
