“Pedagogical debut”, a new republican festival is taking place for the first time on the initiative of the Ministry of Education.

The solemn opening ceremony began today on the grounds of the Academy of post-graduate education. There are 24 best of the best and ready-to-win young teachers under 31 taking part in the full-time format.

The main idea of the festival is to promote professional growth of young teachers and help their employment in institutions.

Upon greeting participants, Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Kadluai expressed believes that the event will definitely become a good tradition, because this format is unique, it allows teachers to demonstrate their prof-skills and it provides friendly environment during contest.

There are dozens of innovations introduced to the national education system and the Ministry positively reacts on them. No one has ever said an argument against the festival during the process of its development.

“We paid attention to young teachers, young nurses of preschool institutions and young leaders. It is very important to pay attention because it is annual replenishment of the system with new young specialists that gives an impetus to its development” – Alexander Kadlubai believes.

Mr. Kadlubai also noted the important fact in its address: “You should value your youth, do not be afraid to introduce new ideas and be courageous. You’ve got fresh minds and you are closer to youngsters studying in your universities and you know what they like and what methods you should use. In the same time, you can inspire your more experienced colleagues.

There are not many but four nominations: “Young teacher”, “Young educator”, “Young head of institution of general secondary education”, “Young pre-school principal”.

All four nominations hide tough tasks to complete. The first two contain introduction part “Beginning of pedagogic way”, a lesson in an unfamiliar class or group on topic offered by the judges and finally a public speech on “I am teacher! And that is…”. The last two contain introduction part “Me and my team”, Master class on Administrative activities and a public speech “My secret of success”.
