“No lie. Soft drugs never exist!” In 2026 Education Ministry launch new preventive project for young people
The initiative will be implementing on online platform with bloggers and experts participating. Key target is to help teenagers develop solid skills of a healthy lifestyle and an ability to provide arguments for their “No” to destructive offers.
Moreover, there are events held jointly with Ministry of Internal Affairs and public organizations in the frames of “You always have a choice” project already in demand among enterprises and companies:
*Live airs about true consequences of drug crimes with people who serve time participating.
*Dialogue platforms for parents with legal representatives of teenagers affected by the problem in attendance.
*Training for teachers so they learn modern methods how to spot the problem at an early stage, including questionnaire.
*Integration of preventive materials into academic programs on biology, chemistry, pre-military training.
Strong emphasis is on secondary employment. In 2025 alone, more than 32 thousand immatures were involved in student teams which is an effective alternative to risk behavior.
“Drug masterminds use increasingly sophisticated psychological manipulation. Our task is to construct a solid preventive system with all participants of the education process: students, parents, teachers. – Says Tatyana Minchenko, deputy head of a department of youth affairs at Education Ministry.
