September 3, all regions of the country have joined the Nationwide Week of Institutions of Additional Education for Children and Youth titled “Quality Additional Education for Children and Youth Today – Successful Future Tomorrow!”. Early in the morning, those who strive to develop their intellectual, creative and athletic abilities have been heading off to sign up for interest groups. Someone got help from relatives. It is understandable, because the choice of clubs and sections is wide. Teachers are confident that they will help every child find an activity they want to plunge in.

For example, today the Minsk State Palace of Children and Youth is gathering all the centers of additional education in the capital on one site. Visitors of all ages can expect interactive sites, master classes, sports activities, performances by creative groups, photo zones, games, competitions, flash mobs.

On September 4, the Republican Center for Ecology and Local History invites you to the educational quest "Secret Laboratory". Exploring the secrets will be entertaining as there are fascinating tasks that will allow you to immerse yourself in the exciting world of research and experiments.

The city of Belarusian miners has something to offer as well, thus on September 7 the creativity center will host an open day "Territory of Creative Opportunities". The program includes demonstration performances on launching model airplanes and kites, an exhibition of architectural models and photographs dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Soligorsk region and much more interesting.

However, traditions demand the brightest, largest and most intense program to take place at the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth.

Throughout the week, institutions of additional education will be presenting their capabilities and talk about the subjects available from this school year on. It is possible one’s favorite hobby become a future profession. Teachers are always ready to help develop the talents of their students and support their initiatives. After all, they know exactly how to maintain interest from the first lesson until graduation into adulthood.

Patriotic education cannot be forgotten and will gain colossal coverage. The children will be offered to participate in events aimed at preserving the historical and cultural heritage, developing folk traditions, and instilling love for the Fatherland in students.

At the same time, the republican comprehensive sports and mass event "Week of Sports and Health" will be held in all regions of the country. A large-scale physical education and sports festival will unite pupils and students of educational institutions. Everyone will have the opportunity to communicate with famous coaches who know a lot about preparing future Olympians, eminent champions, take part in intellectual competitions, master classes and, of course, compete in their sport.

The thematic week will also include an extended meeting of the Republican Council on Additional Education for Children and Youth and a meeting of the Republican Board of Directors of Physical Education Institutions. The results will be summed up on September 10 in Baranovichi.
