The forum gathered more than 100 activists from all regions of the country. An open dialogue titled “Quality education is the key to successful future” took place as part of the forum. Minister of Education took part in the dialogue. In his address to young people Ivanets said: “Many of you were born in sovereign and independent Belarus. Perhaps you understand the 30 years of Presidency as a history but people who lived back then do understand what an effort was put to prevent Belarus from falling into the open and what a wonderful country we live in nowadays. It is symbolic that today we gathered in technopark because on September 1, 2023 our head of state opened it, met with children who began to study there”.
Participants could not miss the opportunity to ask Andrei Ivanets if there are holidays in the department. He told that the ministry is busy during the autumn break and they already plunged into the issues of hosting the centralized exam, 2025 admission campaign and determination of professional path of graduates.
Further discussions on such educational blocks as information security, criminal and administrative liability, psychological aspects of work, and the 2025 election campaign are expected within the framework of the forum. The training program includes not only lectures, but also master classes. Representatives of the education sector, the Central Election Commission, journalists, and law enforcement officers will serve as experts.
The forum is scheduled to conclude on October 29. In general, all the knowledge and skills that its participants will receive will allow young Belarusians to better understand the socio-political life of the country and realize the importance of their role in it. The creation of a platform for interaction between universities and the cohesion of students, young scientists, and working youth interested in the creative development of Belarus will be an important step towards strengthening civic activism among young Belarus.
